Below are step by step instructions on how to install your lawntracks
click on pictures for a larger view.

step one.JPG (124123 bytes) STEP ONE: The first thing you need to do is decide where you want to lay your tracks, when you finally decide mark the ground as shown in the photo in step one.

step two.jpg (114368 bytes) STEP TWO: After you complete step one, remove the tracks and then lay your weed blocker down holding it in place with what ever you have available. I f you decide not to use any weed block  move on to step three.

step three.jpg (124459 bytes) STEP THREE: Whether you use a weed blocker or not is up to you, but in this step is where you lay your leveling dirt or what ever you want to use. Spread the dirt out until you get the desired height and width, usually we keep the dirt five to six inches wider than the track on both sides, the height all depends on how level your ground is and how you want it to look. Keep one thing in mind, the tracks look better when they cut through the landscape like the real thing.

step four.jpg (124812 bytes) STEP FOUR: In this step you lay the tracks back in place and start connecting them together. Keep leveling the tracks as you go, add a little dirt here remove a little there until you have the tracks level the way you would like it. Don't worry if you go off a little, you can take up the slack in step five.

step five.JPG (146618 bytes) STEP FIVE: Well here is where the fun begins, laying down the stones around the track to give it a look like the real thing. There are all kinds of different stone you could lay around the track, of course there are all different prices to. if you want to start off with something inexpensive just use mulch in step three and that's it, level the tracks and you are done. You can do your final  leveling in this last step by pushing some rock under the track here removing some there. As time goes on you might have to do some leveling as the tracks start to settle.
